Data controller
The controller of personal data is UGO! Media, s.r.o., registered office at Elišky Přemyslovny 378, Prague – Zbraslav, Czech Republic, Company ID: 25060325, VAT ID: CZ25060325. In matters of personal data protection you can contact us by e-mail at rent@ugo-media.eu or in writing at the registered office address.
What data we process
When you register a customer account we process your name, e-mail address and phone number. In connection with reservations we also keep records of the rented equipment, rental periods, prices and order status. Your password is stored only in encrypted form and nobody has access to it in a readable form.
Why we process the data
The data is used to conclude and fulfil the equipment rental agreement, to communicate with the customer, to send reminders before the return date, and to comply with legal obligations, particularly in the area of accounting and taxes.
How long we keep the data
Customer account data is kept for as long as the account exists. Documents related to completed rentals are archived for the period required by law. After that period the data is deleted.
Data security
All personal data is protected against unauthorised access and processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted data transfer and restricted database access.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to your personal data, its correction, deletion, restriction of processing or transfer to another controller. You may also object to the processing. If you believe we handle your data in breach of the regulations, you may lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz).
